RESULTS Teri Ellenbecker and
Sandy Jacobson
took low gross honors for the 4th
Annual Capitol Cup golf tournament held,
Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Hillsview
Golf Course in Pierre, SD. The format
for this tournament was six holes of
scramble, six holes of best ball, and
six holes of modified chapman/alternate
shots.
Ellenbecker and Jacobson’s low gross
score of 76 tied the team of
Kathy Christenson and
Lana Laurenz.
Ellenbecker and Jacobson won a scorecard
playoff with Christenson and Laurenz.
This was the low round gross score for
both flights.
Pat Clarke and Janis Warne
of Rapid City shot a net score of 44
which led them to 1st place
in the Net Division of the Championship
Flight, followed by the 2nd
place team ofBarb Wood and
Kit Breuningerwho tied
with Carol
Van Roekel and Teresa Brandenburg.
Wood and
Breuninger won a scorecard playoff to
Van Roekel and Brandenburg who came in 3rd
place.
Gaytha Ten Eyck and Karen Roth
shot a net score of 38 which led them to
1st place in the Net Division
of the First Flight after winning a
score card playoff to Jan
Lester and Bev Krietlow.Roberta Williams and Connie
Pohlman
came in 3rd with a net score
of 44.
